The Day We Both Made It On TV — And Why Sara’s Appearance Meant More
Yesterday, as Portfolio Manager of Equity Armor Investments, I appeared on CNBC to share my outlook on the tech sector and my top stock picks — $AMZN, $GOOGL, and $MU. It was a thrill. CNBC has been a goal of mine for a long time, and getting that opportunity to speak to that audience about what I genuinely believe in the market was everything I hoped it would be.

But I’d be doing this post a disservice if I led with myself.
Because while I was on CNBC talking about stocks, my wife Sara — Outpatient Group Director at Skywood Recovery — was on FOX 2 Detroit talking about something far more important: substance abuse. Her work at Skywood is real, meaningful, and life-changing for the people she reaches every single day. Watching her show up confidently and speak with such clarity and compassion on a topic that matters so deeply — that’s something I’ll carry with me for a long time.
People often ask me what’s driven my success at Equity Armor. The answer is Sara. She has pushed me, grounded me, and made me the best version of myself — not by being in finance, but by modeling what it looks like to truly care about your work and the people you serve.
I am a lucky man. And days like yesterday remind me of exactly how lucky.
